About WERA [ Radio Arlington ]

WERA 96.7 FM [ Radio Arlington ] operated as a community radio station connected to Arlington Independent Media, a nonprofit media organization in Arlington, Virginia. The station was created to support independent radio, community storytelling, local programming, and public participation.

When WERA-LP 96.7 FM launched in 2015, it gave Arlington a dedicated Low Power FM station focused on local voices and locally produced content.
